About SouthStart
Not all policy manuals are
created equal.
Clear, practical policy manuals written for the way agencies actually operate.
WHY SOUTHSTART WAS CREATED
A different approach to policy.
SouthStart was created with a simple belief: A policy manual should be clear enough to use, practical enough to implement, and strong enough to defend.
After years of working with home care, home health, and hospice providers, we saw the same problem over and over. Many policy manuals were hundreds of pages long, difficult to navigate, filled with repetitive language, and written in a way that made them challenging for agencies to implement in day-to-day operations.
SouthStart was founded to take a different approach.
Our manuals are intentionally written to be clear, practical, and focused on the regulatory and accreditation standards agencies are expected to meet. Rather than adding unnecessary content, we concentrate on the policies, procedures, forms, and guidance that support compliance while remaining straightforward enough for administrators and staff to actually use.
We believe a policy manual should be more than a document created for a survey. It should be a practical operational resource that helps agencies understand expectations, implement requirements with confidence, and maintain compliance over time.
